I didn’t have much going on today aside from a handful of “to-do’s”. One of which involved getting some fertilizer on my citrus trees. They started turning yellow and needed some nutrients, hopefully that corrects the issue but we’ll see.
James was also outside with me all morning, we spent some time in the sandbox I made from scrap wood and an unused tote. Super easy and both my kids have loved it.
We also unboxed the new jeep we got the kids for Christmas in preparation for assembly when he went down for a nap. I didn’t let him see the body of the jeep which would have given it away but he had fun climbing on the box and messing with some parts. The minute he fell asleep I jumped on assembly, only took about 45 minutes and I went and stashed it in my neighbor’s shed until our Christmas celebration this upcoming weekend.
We also took a few minutes and watered the plants on the back porch, refilled the dogs water bowl etc. Just playing around and getting things done at the same time. He thinks it’s great and I can actually be productive, a crucial aspect for a SAH/WFH person.
Dinner tonight is some avocado/white bean sandwiches on toasted bread with a refrigerator remnants pasta salad (protein pasta of course)…I’ll add a picture and type up the recipe after I get it on the plate!
